Human Resources is responsible for investigating complaints and taking appropriate actions to stop the abusive conduct, harassment, or discrimination. The supervisor’s role is to forward each complaint to the Human Resources Department and ensure the employee receives no retaliation for filing a complaint or participating in an investigation.
Supervisors and managers are subject to discipline for failing to report suspected sexual harassment or otherwise knowingly allowing sexual harassment to continue. Supervisors and managers are also subject to discipline for engaging in any retaliation.
