Of particular note, RSV vaccine is a newly developed agent that offers protection to older adults and infants and is approved for use in pregnant individuals to prevent lower respiratory tract disease in infants through 6 months of age. Healthcare professionals are obligated to be knowledgeable about current guidelines and updates in order to provide the best possible patient care.
