Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States and the second most common cause of cancer death in women (ACS, 2022b). Healthcare providers frequently manage women with breast cancer in the acute and chronic stages of the disease within a variety of clinical settings. This course will discuss the diagnosis/staging, treatment, and survivorship aspects of caring for patients with breast cancer.
